"For now, this is me"

For years I searched for that one thing I was meant to do for the rest of my life. But I couldn’t find it. I had to realize that, for me, there were two problems with the search itself.

The first problem I had was thinking that whatever I decided to do would be firm and unchanging. The second problem was that I didn’t have only one thing I loved doing. I thought I needed to let go of one trade to pursue another, which led me to feel restrained and miss what I had originally let go of.

I was focused on replicating so many other small businesses that had that one niche they fit into. I feel lucky that I was able to turn it around and focus inward instead.

I had to realize I am not just a painter or photographer, I am a multi-faceted creator that enjoys solving problems for others.

I have realized that what I do presently does not need to be permanent. Life is not constant. It is ever-changing. It can be messy and loud, then delicate and beautiful. It can be joy-filled, or encounter moments filled with pain. Life is all of these things and everything in between.

All anyone can do when facing change, is stay present. What might have worked in the past, may not work now.

So, this platform is for me, in this moment. These are the current offerings I can bring forward and share. This may change as my life situation changes, but my business and myself will adapt. For now, this is me.
